Gorgeous Master Bedroom Suite 5 pcs by ThomasvilleUp for auction today is a master bedroom set by Thomasville.  This is the Grant collection that I bought in late 2009 and have had as my personal set in my home.  I own several antiques, and this fit nicely with the décor.  I take excellent care of my furniture, but please ask questions if you need any further details.Note, this is cherry wood with a deep mahogany finish.  Take note of the grain that's evident in the finish, along with the color contrasts in the patina of the wood.  Solid, no pressed board here.  And it's HEAVY!  Sits well in a home.  No creaking of the bed at night when you get up.  BED: king-sized and holds all styles and makes of mattresses (pillow-tops, sleep number, etc.).  It measures 88" long x 83" wide and over 34" for the footboard and 78" for the headboard.  That's right, this is almost 7 feet tall and it looks majestic.  No gouges or cracks of any sort.NIGHT STAND: Standard night stand with complementary drawers that all function smoothly.  One small discoloration in the wood on the surface (see pic) that most likely came from someone setting that interacted with the finish.  Does not go to the wood, however.  IOW, no "white" spots in the finish.  Measures: 32" wide, 18" deep and 32" high.SIDE STAND: This is similar to the night stand, but it's a bit longer and narrower.  I use it on one side of my bed as a night stand.  Good patina colors in the wood and one small blemish on the surface.  No blemishes on any of the pieces on the sides or fronts.  Measures: 30" long by 20" wide by 26" high.DRESSER: Very wide and full of drawers.  The dresser has only minor surface scratches and one off to the side (see pic) but again, none that cut to the wood past the finish.  All drawers open and close easily and nothing wrong with the tracks or the pulls.  This is a sturdy piece with a beveled mirror that attaches from the back (this is the 5th piece of the set).  Dresser has deep drawers to hold all manner of clothing.  Measures: 46" high (very tall dresser) by 21" deep by 63" wide.MIRROR: Beveled that measures 40" high by 45" wide.  This piece can be removed and attached for easy transport.Note the details of the columns on every piece and the thickness of the spindles and the bases of these pieces.  This is a high-end set, no doubt about it.  Will one day be an antique itself.  This suite cost me close to $10k when purchased new.  So if you're looking for a high-end master bedroom set, this might be the one.  Local pick-up only.  But if you have some special arrangement with a moving company, give me a holler; I'm sure we can work something out.   Sorry, lamps are not for sale.  Thanks again!
